Pre-Christmas Winter Fun

2nd grade winter program at Viking.
Austin and Carissa's wedding. The boys love their "dance move" and wanted to show everyone:)
Christmas program at Grace. The group shot is of the rehearsal...Crosby came in football pads!
Crosby had a round of swim lessons and Laura put Rianna in as well so the 2 of us got some good quality time this month!
I chaperoned Carter's field trip to Santa's workshop
The boys came out with me to center court as alumni players were announced at half time of the UND-Bison game!
First skate of the season. The rink wasn't shoveled but we still had fun!
 Lifegroup Christmas party!

Grace Baptist Christmas Program

Our church has an annual Christmas program that is just adorable! Pre-k through 6th graders signing songs and reading scripture, followed by a cookie party!
Ava didn't quite make it so Tim ran around with her in the hall. Last year we had Sophia and she didn't want to sit either:)
Cooper and Carter both had verses to read this year. It's fun seeing their confidence and willingness to step up to the mic and read!

Vacation Bible School-Secret Agents

Our kids look forward to VBS all year long! This year the theme was Secret Agents so they were extra excited:) I was able to help by co-leading the Bible Memory Room. It's always fun but lots of work!!
The only pics I got were from the assembly on the final day when the kids all sang for their parents. It's hard to see but Carter is in an orange shirt...
...Crosby is the tall guy on the left with the green shorts...
...and Cooper is also on the left with the white shirt. They all got way into their songs!
Here is a 2 min video:)

Christmas Program at Grace

Christmas program rehearsal...a friend sent me this picture. So cute that the brothers had their arm around each other!
I was home with Sophia and missed the program this year but Tim got some good pictures and videos. Carter and Cooper read scripture and all three sang some songs.
The boys dressed up!

Our Children's Christmas Program at Grace

Our church puts on a Christmas Program each year and our kids were finally old enough and healthy enough to be a part of it! (Last year they all had the flu)
The pre-schoolers started the program with a couple of songs and then joined us in the audience. Crosby was sick all weekend with the flu so he missed rehearsal and just sat with us...
...on Tim's shoulders:)
The Kindergarten through 6th graders sang more songs and read Scripture.
Carter memorized a verse with two other girls. If you watch the video, he was quite enamored with one of them:)
Cooper and Isaac Dafoe after the program. Isaac is one of Coops good buddies! A group of women in the church made goodie bags for all of the kids in the program and there was a cookie party afterwards! A fun night to sing and remember what Christmas is all about...Jesus humbly coming to earth to reconcile sinners to the Father!

Cooper's Dedication

We had Cooper dedicated at church on Sunday. Both grandparents were in town to celebrate with us! We decided to bring Carter up in front of the church with us as well and he was very excited about the microphone that dad was holding. Then he asked repeatedly while looking out at the congregation, "who are ALL these people??!!" Cooper was calm and easy-going as usual:)

Sunday School

Carter graduated this week from the nursery to Sunday school at church. It is a couple months before he was supposed to transition but they asked if we would bump him up to even out the rooms. He came home with a brown bag of different things he did in the class. One was a sheet that parents are supposed to go through with the kids. I know this is all a bit advanced for him but thought I would try anyways. The first question was, "who made Adam and Eve?" I asked Carter and he gave me a blank stare. I thought I would help him out and said, "Did God make Adam and Eve?". He looked at me and said, "NO! Uncle Mike made Adam and Eve!". Hmmmm, we have a ways to go!
