More Cards

Carter's favorite toy for the past 5 months has been a deck of cards. It rotates from playing cards, to Sesame Street cards, to Toy Story 3 cards to Winnie the Pooh cards....but every day we spend part of the time playing with cards! This particular day he wanted to organize all his cards in rows...I'm not sure who's kid he is!! I just looked back at the blog and posted something about this small obsession in early May!

Cooper Milestone-Learning to Sit Up

Cooper is sitting up....sort of:)

Carter at 2 Years + 1 Month

Our little talker continues to keep us amused:) Here are his latest:

-Driving home the other day he started singing a song that went something like this: "I like you a lot, I like you a lot, high ho the darioh, I like you a lot!"

-He loves to count but always leaves out number 4

-The other morning I went in to get him up and he said, "Well hello there Mrs. Mommy!"

-He loves the song "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes". He typically just adds in any other body parts that he knows and it becomes something like, "Head, Shoulders, Arms, and Mouth, and Eyes and Ears...."

-He really likes Cookie Monster A LOT

-He has enjoyed coloring and play doh lately

-Shannon and Bud gave him a Mr. Potato Head for his birthday and daily he asks to play with Mr. Totato Head:)

-We'll often overhear him saying Oopsie Daisy or Okie Dokey

-I overheard him "reading" himself a book the other day called "I Love you All the Time". He said, "I love you when you laugh" and then did this hillarious fake laugh. Then he said, "I love you when you cry" and did a fake cry. I was trying so hard not to laugh out loud:)

-Most days we play outside with his $4 Walmart golf clubs!

Cooper is 7 Months Old!

Here is what is new with our little Coops this month!

-He LOVES to eat solid food. So far he has tried peas, squash, carrots, rice cereal, and bananas...all pureed of course! He has chowed down on everything without a fuss:)

-He mostly sleeps through the night now. We'll put him to bed around 7pm and I feed him once more before I go to bed. He normally is up around 7 or 7:30 so I'm finally catching up on sleep!!!

-Because of his good sleeping track record we have tried twice to put him in his crib in the boys room. Both times he has woken up in the middle of the night and woken Carter up as well. We'll try again soon:)

-He is becoming a little bit more mobile. Still no crawling but he'll roll over a couple of times and wind up in a different place than where he started.

That is all for now. I'm sure he'll be in an even different place next month:)
