Crosby's Winter Update 2016/2017

Game dates while Ava had her visits with her birth parents
Getting a little help from Carter to lose his 2nd tooth:)
We went to quite a few basketball games this winter and sometimes Cros got a little sleepy:)
"Mom you should buy this! Then we can make all sort of messes in the house and this will fix it all!"
 Cros loves his art projects
 Bathtime adventures:)
"Mom, is this a good ballet trick?"
Crosby LOVES dogs! He kept putting his blanket on Whipper at Christmas time and was so excited to get to dog sit our friends dog this winter.
 Trip to Scheels
 Hiiii-Yah!
Cros is getting super creative with Legos too. Here is his latest free style creation.
The boys don't put on costumes nearly as much as they used to but I sure love when they do!
Goofing around with grapes and Carter's shoes:)
Cros took an 8 week pre-school class this winter on Tuesday nights.
He took ice skating lessons as well but mostly liked chatting with his leaders:)
We let the boys dress themselves each day. Except for church...then mom picks. These are some of Crosby's best outfits from this winter:) He's got some style!
"Mom, can we be Captain America twins today?"
Crosbyisms from this winter:

-"Mom, can I tell you a question?"

-While praying..."God help you for today"

-Convo with a babysitter:
Cros: "Do you believe in Santa"?
Megan: "Umm..." Stalls not wanting to ruin it if he doesn't know. "Do you believe in Santa, Cros?"
Cros: "Ummm...Mom and dad said I CANNOT tell anybody."
After 5 minutes
Cros: "I have something to tell you. (whispering) Santa isn't real."
:)

-Me: "Cros can you run to the kitchen and tell me what time it is?"
Cros: "Mom, it's snowman, double dot, 4, ball with a stick down."
Me: "Hmmmm so it must be 8:49?"

-"Dad, your breath smells like throw up."

-Cros: "Mom, do you love me best?
Me: "I love you all the same buddy."
Cros: "But you spend so much more time with me so you probably love me best!"

-"Dad, can you see without your eye patches on? I mean your contacts!"

-Cros: "Mom, what would happen if a person loved Jesus but wanted to be a robber when they grew up?"
Me: "Why do you ask? Do you want to be a robber?"
Cros: "No, I want to be a baker! You know that. I am all about good treats. And healthy food too."

-Cros: "Guess who is my favorite dog!"
Me: "Jasper? Whipper?
Cros: "no! God's dog, Jesus!"
Me: "What?? You are saying Jesus is God's dog?"
Cros: "Nooooo! Jesus is God and his dog is my favorite!"
Me: "How do you know he has a dog?"
Cros: "Because he is God and can do anything so of course he's got a dog! And it's my favorite!"

Cooper's Winter Update 2016/2017

Cooper is always creating...art, forts, legos, play doh
Growing in his writing skills
He is very daring and even asked me if he could do a flip off this snow hill. I said no.
He has been working hard at his reading and we've given him some Pokemon incentives too:)
Gappy grin
Coops was so good with Ava!
Coops loves wearing his shirts backwards:)
"I went to TCX. It is fun. I like it a lot. I play elimination and soccer. Before I went to TCX I was at my grandma and grandpas and I went Iowa side and I watched Iowa basketball and I want to see football and baseball and Iowa won against UND and this is Iowa's symbol and they won boy!"
Cooper loves the Hawkeyes:)
Cooper 0, Pavement 1
After a health lesson on how bad sugar is, Cooper decided that he didn't agree and that Mountain Dew is the best for him. Oh boy!
We still haven't started formal lessons but Cooper has been showing more interest in music lately.
Boot and shorts. Love this ND boy!

Cooperisms from this winter:

-The boys were talking about kids swearing at school and Cooper said: "I'm glad I don't think it's funny. I take swear words very seriously!"

-Cooper: "I have a girlfriend."
Me: "Does she know?"
Cooper: "Sort of. I told her and she put her head in her hands and shook her head. That's okay though. I maybe shouldn't have a real girlfriend until 15 or so. And then get married at 18."

-Cooper also says, "I'm an inch away from Positive" all the time!
