Choice Fitness Water Park

Our boys love the water. They are fearless and I finally signed them up for swim lessons this summer while we are in Colorado! We had a rainy Saturday a couple of weeks ago and some friends asked us to join them at the pool. Somehow I didn't get any pics of our friends but here are the boys...loving it!
Kimmy again...she sort of just does life with us. It is amazing!
Mr. Personality!! Love his expressions and smile!
It was crazy but fun and they napped like champs! Crazy but fun...I say that a lot:)

Spark Park Tour

We were needing a little direction to our summer days and I remembered hearing somebody talk about doing a "Park Passport" with their kids. From that idea, our Park Tour was born. I mentioned the idea to the kids and they dreamed up a poster-board with a map and a list to check off. Voila!
The poster is up in our living room and each day the boys get all excited about what new park we might discover! We don't do it every day and they are even fine when we need to repeat parks but it has been fun for all of us.
Sometimes Kimmy joins us. Sometimes we meet friends.
But most of the time it is just the 3 amigos and me.
They seem to get along so much better when we are outide! Ahhhh summer!
This is the first summer since 2007 that I haven't either been pregnant or had a very small baby to carry around. Three young kids has it's challenges but I'm loving the fact that they can all play and run around this summer. We will soak it in!

Our favorite park so far is Sherlock Park in East Grand Forks. Very cool! At this point we are 9 park down and 5 to go. We might need to finish our Tour after we return from Colorado as we leave in a little over a week!!

TBT in Moorhead

Trampled by Turtles played in Moorhead a couple of weeks ago. Tim was out of town for a wedding so it seemed like a perfect time to get a sitter and head south for a fun girl's night out!!
Two of my best friends, Britta and Kendra, were able to meet me for dinner and the show. It was a really cold night but we bundled up and still had a great time.
Dave reserved us seats that were front and center and got us back stage passes as well. It was such a fun night!

Our Roommate Kimmy

Our dear friend Kimmy has been living with us since March. She graduated from UND in December and has been volunteering with Cru this spring. She loves the boys and can handle us all so it works out well:)
Kimmy is the queen of crafts and coming up with fun games. This art project was started one night while I was scrambling to get dinner ready. The perfect blessing for a time-crunched mom with fussy, hungry kids!
She helps the boys make sweet things for me:) She has even babysat for us a time or two...or three!
Clearly the boys love her! We do too:) You are a blessing to us Kimmy!!

Week in Eden Prairie

After spending time with the Stillwater Sparks in late April/early May, we traveled across town to Eden Prairie. Tim had a week-long seminary class in downtown Minneapolis so the boys and I hung out with Nana (Papa was out of town for a business trip). Some of the days were cool and rainy so we did things like go to their community center which has an indoor play area and go to McDonalds. A couple days were really nice so we played a lot outside. One day Nana took us to a really cool park in Eden Prairie and we had a picnic!
 Nobody can resist Crosby's cheeks!
 Weeeeeee!
Love the intense facial expressions of a 3 year old figuring this park out!
Once I pull the camera out this sweet boy stops and says "cheese"!
Cros is the only one that wanted a pic with mom this day:)
Swings! Fun for all generations:) Thanks Nana! I know it was A LOT of work having us but we loved the time with you!

Crosby is 19 Months!

 Helloooooooo my big little man!
Even though you have fallen in love with the word "no", you are still super smiley and expressive!
You tend to be the energizer bunny so we had a get a picture of this sweet moment when   you fell asleep in daddy's arms.
You love playing catch and balls of all sorts. Watch out ballers!
Here you are showing off your softer side...actually you took some poor girl's hair bow and put it on in the nursery:)
You LOVE using a spoon and despite the pictures, you've actually gotten pretty good!
 We love you Cros!

A couple other updates and highlights from the past month:
-At your 18 month visit (really at 19 months) you were just shy of 30 pounds (82%) and about 34 inches long (84%).
-You had another follow up appointment for your eye and the doctor said it continues to improve and is looking very good.
-You have gotten 4 teeth this past month which has interfered a bit with your sleep.
-Whenever we get the camera out you freeze and say "cheeeeeese". It is so adorable!
-You still love the bath...a lot!
-We took you to the pool at our May Days conference and you were fearless. You kept jumping in and would go under all the way and then wanted to do it again. It was actually really scary how fearless you were!
-You still love books with pictures of animals. Whenever you see a picture of a cat or dog you put your head to the book like you are trying to cuddle with it:) Now that we can play outside again you have seen a lot more dogs are go crazy with excitement.
-Here are some of your words as of late: snack, bear, roar, baby, ball, book, neigh, moo, cow, dog, sock, shoe, spoon, treat, banana (nana), bath, poop, juice, tatoo, uh oh, cheese, hot, shhhh, down, up, out....the list grows every day!
-When you get mad your first reaction is to hit. We ask you if you want to go to time-out in your crib or stop and you say "stop". Ususally.
