YMCA basketball

This winter Carter and Cooper played Y-ball and got to be on the same team! After a week or two, their coach asked me if I would help. I was reluctant but it ended up being a blast!

 Crosby was such a good sport, coming to every practice and game. He mostly played with other siblings that were hanging around as well.

 These guys improved so much from start to finish!  

 A bonus for Cooper was getting to be on a team with his bestie, Isaac!

Winter Fun!

It's hard to believe that winter is ALMOST over! We spent a ton of time in the gym and on the ice.

Snow Days

We've had a couple of snow days this winter that our boys have thoroughly enjoyed!!

A Visit from Shannon and the Girls

Shan and I were talking on the phone on Wednesday night and both agreed that we'd love to plan a cousin weekend. We looked at our calendars and both agreed that the best choice was the upcoming weekend, 2 days away!! 

They made the 5 hour trek and we had SUCH A BLAST!! The kids all enjoyed each other and there was so much laughter:)

 For the rest of the afternoon on Saturday we went to a park that had skating and sledding. The rink was starting to melt so we didn't last long on skates but they had quite the endurance on the sledding hill! The warming house had a snowboard we borrowed and all the kids tried it out. We had so much fun!! The night ended with pizza, a dance party and movie. What a weekend:)

Weekend at the Cabin

The boys had a couple of days off school so Tim and I decided to take a day off an we headed to my folk's cabin!

 It had snowed a bunch before we got there and then while we were there it snowed two more times!! I've never seen so much snow!

 We spent some time out on the lake...miles to run and play! The snow was so deep that it was quite the work out just to walk.

 Cros was getting too tired so just the big boys and I hiked across the lake to the island.

 They had so much fun exploring and creating a ninja warrior course! 

 Our dear friends, The Roordas, came out and joined us on the last day. We went sledding, hiking, and just had lots of fun hanging out!! 

 What an incredible weekend!!!

Cooper's Birthday Party

Cooper begged to have his 8th birthday party at a local water park, Splasher's. Because of the cost per person we told him he could only invite 2 friends. The next thing we know, he has convinced his best buddy Isaac to have a joint birthday party so they could each invite friends and maximize the fun!

 First, the adults! Richard and Isaac's grandparents did come as well. We had fun chilling in our cabana:)

 Cooper and Isaac were on the same basketball team this winter so we thought this cake was appropriate!

 Carter and Tim played a ton of bball. Coops and the gang mostly ran around like crazy boys!

 They had such a great (messy, loud, crazy) time!
