Bumbo Chair

Crosby is loving his Bumbo Chair these days...

...and for some reason, his big brothers love it too!

St. Patrick's Day 2012

Being that I'm 100% Irish (just ask me!...ok, so 25% but who is counting), we thought we'd celebrate a bit this year. St. Patrick has an incredible story that we tried to share with our boys but then we mostly just had random fun. Our dear friend Britta was in town for a couple of days and she helped us make it extra special.
Mimi Bev sent the boys some adorable hats. I guess our boys are only 1/8th Irish but they sure are cute!
Going on a treasure hunt for gold coins.
 Decorating the house
A rainbow craft that Britta planned
And shamrock jello jigglers...such a hit!
We spent a lot of the day at the park like most days this past week...what an incredible blessing in March! More of those pics to come:)

Papa and Crosby

Crosby was mesmerized by Papa's banjo playing. Fun to see them bond!

Vacation at the Carroll Cabin

Wowza-I'm behind on the blog!
A couple of weeks ago we took a little vacation to my parent's cabin (we've had to redefine the word vacation when the kids are along!). It was a beautiful weekend and much needed get-away. My parents joined us as well as Shannon, Sawyer and Rocky (their dog).
We spent a lot of time outside. I loved sledding and making snowmen with the boys! The hill at the cabin might have been a bit ambitious with a 2 and 3 year old:) Hopefully they'll want to go sledding again next year!
Cooper and Sawyer have definitely bonded!
The kids got along really well...I mean crazy well! They laughed and played and seemed to really enjoy the time together.
The big kids had fun too!
Why is it that bath pictures with cousins always seem so appropriate??!
We had the instruments out for a lot of the weekend. It was loud but fun:) Cooper kept calling Rocky, Whipper (Mike and Sherah's dog). Tim KEPT reminding him...quite funny!

Wild and Crazy Boys

Running, yelling, chasing each other, playing drums, jumping off the couches...every day, repeat, amen!

Crosby is 5 Months!

We love kissing this boy's cheeks!!
At his latest check up he weighed 16 pounds, 11.9 ounces (85%) and was 26 1/4 inches long (70%). He is our chunky monkey mega-baby!

Carter is 3 Years + 7 Months!

Carter has SO MUCH ENERGY!! We often make a "crash pile" of pillows and blankets for the boys to jump into. Carter especially loves this:)
The only problem is that it usually ends with two toddlers colliding and crying...but they keep coming back for more!
 Our biggest little Hawkeye!
I love the times during the week when Carter and I get some alone time. He loves puzzles, memory, PBS video games, crafts, and baking cookies!
Tim tries to read the Bible to the boys each night before bed. It is fun to watch Carter learn, ask questions, and enjoy the Word!

A couple things from the past month:
-Carter has been skipping his nap some days...I knew this time would come, but I'm not quite ready yet:)
-He tells the truth in detail when he is in trouble. For instance, if I ask him if he hit Cooper he will respond with something like, "No mom I shoved him and then punched him." Okaaaaay
-For some reason Tim and I have had "Who Let the Dogs Out?" stuck in our heads this past month and we sing it often. Cooper will sing along and we love his "who, who, who?" Carter just keeps asking, "So, who did let the dogs out?" Hahahaha! He has started asking people at church and our friends...so funny!

Carterisms:
-"Mom, your the greatest girl in the world!"
-"Cooper, I'm so proud of you. You are such a big helper."
-"Thanks mom! You saved my life!" (I helped him fix a toy)
-At dinner one night: "Hi Tim. Tell me about your day. Did you have a good day?"

Who is this kid????
Carter, we love you sooooo much!

Cooper is 2 Years + 1 Month

Cooper John, you sure have a BIG personality!
You recently started loving the color yellow. You only play with yellow legos and collect various yellow objects throughout the day and put them in piles. We have no idea where this came from but it is cute:)
You love to help people. If we ever leave a cell phone or cup of coffee on the counter you will pick it up and bring it to us. You also will hand me Crosby's blanket if I ever pick him up without it. The other day you picked up dad's big mug and carried it all the way upstairs to hand to him!
You were quite proud of yourself! I'm just so thankful you didn't drop it!
You recently started called Carter "Carty Mac" which is adorable and you love playing Ring Around the Rosie and the Hokie Pokie. You have contagious smile and we love you so much!!
