A Couple Videos...Lame Title, I Know

Here we have a little gymnastics with Kimmy. Notice that Carter has underwear on his head and socks on his hands. Just another day. My favorite is Cooper trying so hard to do a backwards somersault!
And here we have a random lunchtime. These boys just feed off of each other with their intensity and craziness. Sometimes it hits that point when it is out of control. By sometimes, I mean daily. It is a challenge. On this day, however, I just decided to film it before I regained control:)

Easter 2013

Tammy came over to dye Easter eggs with the boys earlier in the week. They loved it and I was so thankful because I most definitely couldn't have done that alone with Crosby on the loose!
I think it was Thursday or Friday of Easter weekend that our family started getting sick. Cooper and Crosby got it first with lots of throwing up and diarrhea. I have never done so much laundry and scrubbing floors in the my life. Ugh. Tim took lots of pics of the chaos but I will spare you. Here is Cooper just laying on the floor while Carter goes potty. Soooo sick.
We had planned to have a bunch of friends over for Easter dinner but we had to cancel:( The boys rallied at certain points during the day so the did enjoy opening gifts from the grandparents and doing an Easter egg hunt. They got lots of summer Superhero gear and Crosby got his new favorite animal book! I have read this book at least 100 times already!
The big boys got their first pair of boxers! They also got some swim gear. Will we ever be able to use it? That is the question:)
Not sure if Cooper is helping Crosby or stealing from him...
Crosby was able to find a couple...and the boys did great sharing at the end.
Their favorite part...mmmm...candy!!

Carter's Camera

When Crosby was born we got a new camera. I had our old one sitting around and Carter asked if he could use it a couple of months ago. He has enjoyed snapping pictures from time to time and the other day we realized he had taken over 600 pictures! I looked through them ALL and here are a couple I found that he took:
 Our friends Britta and Steven
Cros in a basket...I remember when this was a daily event:)
 Shots of the fam
And the fam all getting tired of the Carterazzzzzzi
Literally hundreds of pics were self portraits! Oh Carter!
 Hanging out with Kimmy!

Crosby is 1 1/2!

This guy is changing so much every month! He is talking more and more which is so fun:) He will fake cry if he sees me holding one of his brothers. He loves brushing his teeth. He can throw a HUGE temper tantrum and even bangs the floor or walls with his fists. When people pick him up to hold him he pats your back. When I pull the camera out he says, "cheese". He gives the best kisses and I love when he blows kisses as well. So cute. This past month he started to like books! His favorites are the ones with pictures of real animals. He loves making a bear "roar" and can also say moo, baaa, hiss, and some others. Most of his other words have to do with food!
 So big!
 Sweet smile:)
 Wearing his food
Love this cutie!! And always love a little boy in a sweater vest:)
Don't you just want to kiss those cheeks??

Carter is 4 Years + 8 Months!

I don't have many pictures this month. I do have a couple priceless quotes though. Carter is so quotable:)
-On our way to the gymnastics center Carter said: "I can't wait to jump in the pit of foam squares. It's so gently. Softer than pillows. Softer than a pit of scissors."
-I was telling Carter how I see many similarities between the two of us. He responded: "Wow Case, that is soooooo cool! I can't even describe to you what a great job God did on us!" (Yes, he still call us Casey and Tim)
-At an indoor park the other day Carter went up to a boy and asked him his name. The boy was clearly shy and didn't respond. Carter asked again. Still no response. Then Carter asked him why he wasn't saying anything. At this point Cooper jumped in and the two of them are following this poor, shy kid around repeatedly asking him why he won't talk and what his name is! They are so social!
-Carter say a guy in shorts the other day and started laughing because, "hahahaha his pants are waaaaay too short!" (We are missing spring and summer sooooo bad!)
-Carter told us he got married at Awana last week. I asked him about it and he said "A girl said 'Let's get marred!' so I said 'Yes' and then we got all wound up and crazy!" When I asked him her name he couldn't remember:)
-We have all been sick for so long and so the other morning when Carter was going to the bathroom he had his first solid poop in a while. He broke into song, "My poop is solid. Praise the Lord. Thank you God!"

I'm realizing that I posted almost all of these on facebook this past month. Wow. Like I said, he is quotable!
Carter put sandals on the other day when he was still in his pjs and said, "Hey, I look like Papa!" Papa does wear his birks around the house a lot. He's so observant!

Cooper is 3 + 2 Months!

I'm so behind in the boy's monthly updates. I blame it on the flu. Or whatever it was that took our family out, one by one, some of us twice. Ugh. That was NASTY. Anyways, back to Cooper. Here are a couple of highlights:

-After talking about Adam and Eve hiding from God Cooper commented that "God wouldn't be very fun to play hide and seek with!"
-Most nights at dinner he prays before the meal. His prayer lately is usually the same: "God please help me to not to bad things but to do good things. Amen."
-Tim asked Cooper why he was in time out the other day. His response: "Because Mom said to not eat the cracker. Then she said, 'Cooper, don't eat the cracker'. Then she said, 'Cooper, please don't eat the cracker.' And then I ate the cracker."
-The other day he wanted to use the downstairs bathroom. I told him to use the upstairs bathroom so he wouldn't be all alone. He looked at me and said, "Come on, Mom, you know I won't be alone. Jesus is always with me."
-Before bed each night he asks Tim and me to sing Jesus Paid It All and I Love You Forever (a little tune we made up to the song in the book with the same title). He has started wanted to sing along with us.
-He often sings the song I'm in the Lord's Army but gets it a bit confused and says, "I'm in the Lord's, are you?"
Hanging out on the scooter with Cros
 Cooper loves playing legos
And he has incredible endurance for reading. Lately he will just sit by himself and turn the pages of books. At times he has done this for up to 30 minutes all by himself!
