I don't think you could possibly pack more personality into a 16 month little boy than Crosby is displaying as of late. So fun! He is starting to talk and tries to sound out all sorts of words. We can sort of understand when he says milk, water, book, ball, more, all done...and many more I'm sure I'm forgetting. When you ask him to repeat what you say, he will generally give it a try!
He has started blowing kisses and loves playing peak-a-boo. He covers he eyes with his hands or bib and then just laughs and laughs. I wish I could bottle up these moments.
When he wakes up from nap or in the morning (he finally when a month sleeping through the night by the way and I am a new woman!!) he always wants us to get his blankets and pillow and bring them out with us.
He is doing great on the stairs and we even took down our gate this past week. He cruises down the stairs on his belly and sort of slides his way down. Here are some pics as of late:
Any time I am dusting he wants me to give it to him and then he tries to do it himself. This could be great in a year or so!
Cros got his first hair cut this month. As you can sort of see on the bottom picture, he had a poof of hair in the back that kept turning into a matted mess so we cut it off:) He did great! No tears at all for this guy.
Like I said, personality...
...and more personality!
I love Crosby's sense of humor. He does silly things and KNOWS they are silly. We LOVE his little laugh!!
You can tell that his eye is getting better...still a little swollen though. We just brought him in yesterday and the doctor said everything looks good and is healing up right on track.
Crosby loves climbing up on things and then stands and jumps. It is funny but quite terrifying. He has NO FEAR.
Cros developed a love for light switches this past month. I'm pretty sure he even moved this chair to get to one. If he can't move a chair he'll just stand by the switch, point to it, and grunt until somebody lift him up and he can try to turn the light on and off.
