Crosby's pics Spring/Summer 2018

 Some pics of Cros:
I helped chaperone a Kindergarten field trip. The kids made valentines for some people at a nursing home and then delivered them.
If Cros was 100 years old:)
Cros LOVES to dress up and he lost lots of teeth this past year.

I'm not sure if Cros will want to play football but he loves to dress like a player!
Cros and his good buddy Ben
Cros got very sick this winter and was struggling to breath and coughing lots.
"I love you to the moon and back, Jack"
 Blue eyes
Crosby will often crawl up on the counter to get a coffee cup down and then pour Tim and cup and bring it to him in bed!

Cros came home with quite a few love notes from girls in his class:)
"Love Harlee. Do you want to be boyfriend and girlfriend?"
"I love you do you love me back?"
 Art by Cros
Crosby is our most fashion conscious kid! He's always looking sharp!
 Sporting a pony tail:)
"My uncle is famous because he plays in Trampled by Turtles."
I came in the kitchen and found Cros up here. "Hey Mom, want to bake?!"

Quotes from Cros:
I was eating lunch at school with Crosby and he gets to pick a friend to sit with us. He hasn't picked yet and a girl sat down with us. Afterwards I asked why he didn't tell her he had picked someone else. "I didn't want to break her heart!"

When eating out at a restaurant, Crosby went to the bathroom. He came out with a big smile on his face: "Guys! I found two lucky pennies! On the floor in the Men's Room!"

Crosby's 5th Birthday

Crosby's 5th birthday fell on the Sunday of fall retreat. Around 100 college student sang Happy Birthday to him and HE THOUGHT IT WAS THE COOLEST THING EVER!! We went out to lunch at Applebees in Devil Lake with our staff team with the plan to celebrate as a family the next day. Crosby asked us to take him to Fargo to Chuck E Cheese's. He also asked for it to be just our family:)
The boys all had a blast. I'm continually amazed at what an easier stage of life we are in. We just gave each boy a cup of coins and off they went:)
Presents! It's still a 3 boy event in this household.
And a birthday facetime session with Shannon and the girls! I can't believe our baby is 5. What is happening?? Crosby is still the most loving, tenderhearted kid. He loves to snuggle, wrestle with Tim, do seek-n-find books, play Pokemon Go, and help with whatever we need help with. He is such a servant! Crosby, we LOVE you!!

Crosby's 4th Birthday

I honestly can't believe that our baby is FOUR YEARS OLD! Wowza has time flown by.
This was just yesterday, right?? (Okay, looking at that picture I'm remembering the chaos of having a barely 3 year old, 1 year old and newborn!!). Things are a bit easier these days...
...like in this picture where Carter is helping by reading Crosby's cards to him:)
And here where the big boys are helping Crosby do his new lego set:)
Present time!!! The big boys were sort of patient but really wanted to play with all of Crosby's toys too.
We took Crosby to the Valley Corn Maize for his birthday. He invited his buddy Mason along for the party and Tammy (on our staff team) joined us as well!
 Buried in corn!
ALL the boys played on the tractor:)
The corn maze took around an hour to complete. Thankfully they gave us a map because this maze was intense! The boys loved it!
It was pretty chilly by the end of the time so our picnic was mildly uncomfortable:) Mostly for mom...the boys didn't complain too much.
After the maze we ate some cupcakes and Crosby finished opening his presents. His brothers informed him that this was "THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!" I think Crosby agreed:)
