Red Rocks/TBT

I have always wanted to see Trampled By Turtles play at Red Rocks but the last three time haven't work with our schedule. So  when we saw that they were playing there in July this year we figured out a way to make it happen! We had planned to go with the Roordas but Luke was deployed so just Shawna joined us.

 We used our travel guide that Luke made for us! And it didn't take long to get into vacay mode!

I was blown away but how beautiful this amphitheater is! 

 We got to hang out with Dave a bit before the show. Shan, Christian and my cousins Clare and Jesse were there too!

 What an amazing show!!!

 The next day we drove down to Colorado Springs and visited a brewery before hiking.

 On our last day, Shawna and I walked around a lake outside of Denver and then we all went into the city and walked around, visited some breweries and took in the city!

Steamboat Springs!!

My brother moved from Duluth, MN to Steamboat Spring quite a few years ago and we had never been to see him and Christy. UNTIL NOW!! We tried 2 years ago when we were in FoCo but he was on tour so we were thankful our calendars worked out! We had so much fun seeing where they live and going on fun adventures!

We spend a couple of hours tubing down the Yampa River one afternoon!!! So fun!

CAMPING TRIP

 The day we planned to camp it was raining on and off. The rain held up long enough to set up our tent and a tarp over the table. 

 The guys used both vehicles and climbed trees to set this up!

 Would you look at that view!!! Oh my goodness it was breathtaking!

We had such a great time...can't wait to do it again! Thanks Dave and Christy for being such great hosts and adventure guides!

Our Trip to See All The Family (except Dave)

Being that we will be in ND for most of the summer we wanted to plan in a quick vacation to see some family!

 First stop: Minnehaha Falls with Shannon and the girl along with Nana and Papa!

 The cousins had such a fun time together-eating dogs that Papa grilled, running around the park and watching the fall. The adults enjoyed food from Sea Salt and good company! It was a wonderful night with perfect weather!! 

Next stop: Twins game with Nana and Papa

We took our first ride on the light rail

 The Twins won and got 3 home runs too! 

 After the Twins game we walked around the Viking Stadium

Third Stop: Mike and Sherah's house to see the boy cousins!

Fourth and final stop: The Spark cabin with Mimi and Gramps for Father's Day Weekend

 Carter won a fishing pole at Awana and had a blast fishing each day. He caught a couple of fish too!  

 We had beautiful weather for fishing, boating, jet skiing, canoeing, tubing, kayaking, and a bonfire. What an incredible weekend!! And vacation!
