Spring has Sprung

Visit From the Sparks + Spring Soccer

Mimi and Gramps came to town for a visit and got to see Crosby's first ever soccer game! 

 It was a little chilly out but we went exploring down by the river and got to see the flood memorial on the 20th anniversary of the 1997 flood.

 Spring soccer is always a weather adventure. This was a chilly 25 degree Tuesday. Two days later soccer was cancelled due to snow...

 ...and a week later it was a perfect 70 degree spring night!

Fall Soccer

Soccer was such a joy this fall! Carter and Cooper were on the same team and Crosby decided not to play so maybe it just felt simpler this time around. Probably the last time that will happen but we enjoyed it!

Cros was a great fan and still like to wear his jersey once in a while:)

 The boys each had some good friends/classmates on their team. Fun to see them developing some friendships! 

 They are both very competitive and aggressive. It was SO FUN to watch them play, hustle, and enjoy the game. 

 We had Ava with us for the 2nd part of the season. All she wanted to do was run on the field which was quite stressful so we tried to get her to stay in her stroller. Thankfully lots of the players older sisters wanted to help out!

Fall Soccer

We signed the boys up for fall soccer not really realizing how much it would dominate our lives! Cooper had practice on Monday and games on Saturday. Carter had practice on Tuesday and games on Thursdays and Saturdays. It seems like we are ALWAYS at soccer. Thankfully the weather has been nice:)

 While Carter is at practice, Cooper and Cros typically play leap frog, tag, or wrestle. I don't think they have watched Carter play for more than 5 minutes total:) 

 Carter on the field (number 5). He impressed us and his team with his strong leg this year. He can kick the ball sooooo far! Now we need to work on control and dribbling. But man oh man can he BOOT IT!

Yay soccer! And yay that it will be done in 1 week:)
