April and May Highlights

I went down to Fargo to hang out with some friends and Tim got asked to play in a basketball tournament last minute. He winged it and brought the boys with our travel DVD player. Win-win!
Legos. Legos. Legos. And a day to organize them!
I took the boys to a middle school musical, Into the Woods. They loved it! I actually got to take Crosby to the matinee rehearsal of Mulan at a different middle school the day before.
TV time! We got into Little Big Shots this spring. Lots of laughs.
Spring weather!! We played at the park after school most days. Carter ALWAYS gathered a crowd of boys to play football. Cooper played once in a while but usually just played at the park.
Lego Club at the library. Basically they bring out a big bin and they kids can just play. Lego "Club".
Date Night!! Dinner at the Toasted Frog and a walk along with river.
Screen time while mom makes dinner. Another win-win!
We did a little more respite care with baby Addy right before we left for NJ! She's such a sweet baby!!
Carrie Underwood concert! I'm not the hugest fan but when a big name comes to Grand Forks, you just gotta go!
Allie got tickets with me and Laura but then ended up moving to Minneapolis. She came back for the weekend so we had some fun times bowling and eating out!
Classic Spark Boys. Ready for school!!

Visit from the Worums

(I'm am so far behind on updating the blog!) Shan and the girls came up to Grand Forks for a weekend in April! The cousins had such a great time together! We had decent weather so we were able to spend a morning at the park and then even did an afternoon at the pool. Lots of fun and laughter! Thanks for making the effort to come our way, girls!! We love you!

Nana and Papa Come to the GF!

We love Grandparents!! Nana and Papa were traveling a lot this spring and when they got back and settled at home they planned a quick stop up to see us. We played at the park, went to see Zootopia, Papa did A TON of projects around the house, Tim and Papa went to a hockey game, and we had tons of fun visiting!! Papa brought his nice camera so we got some good family shots! Thanks for coming and come again SOON!!

Grace's (Beer-idal) Shower

As I mentioned in my last post, we will have to miss Kevin and Grace's wedding this summer. Because of that, we made the big road trip to MSP so I could make it to her shower. The aunts planned a unique, "beer-idal" shower at a local brewery. We got the tour and then ate dinner and Grace opened up some gifts. It was super chill and so much fun to sit around and catch up with all the aunts and cousins!

 The guest of honor!
So much laughter, stories told, silliness, catching up, and fun!
Look at Shannon's muscles! And, I love my family!!

Great Kate showing off the cake!
The whole gang at the end of the tour. Such a fun night!!

Weekend in Stillwater

We loaded up our minivan and headed southeast...a route we have taken countless times! My cousin Kevin is marrying a sweet girl, Grace when we are in New Jersey. We won't be able to fly back for it so I wanted to make sure I made it to her bridal shower. It worked out to tag-team the shower with a little Spark family time in Stillwater!
The boys got to see their cousins which they LOVE!
We made a visit to Teddy Bear park, the boys FAVORITE park. They talk about it all year long!
Mimi and Gramps got the boys awesome, matching Captain America sweatshirts!
A family hike in downtown Stillwater. I missed out on some of the fun being that I left for a good chunk of Saturday (pics to come). But good times were had by all!
