A Day in the Life...

...of Carter MacLeod

He wakes up between 7:30 and 8:00 and his first words are "I love you mom!!"...
Just kidding:) He almost always wakes up with milk on his mind and says it repeatedly until we grant his wish!

Carter really loves to brush his teeth (especially now that he realized that Elmo is on his toothpaste).

He also really loves getting a bath! He would stay in all day if I let him, especially now that Great Aunt Katie and Uncle Hal got him a basketball hoop for the tub:)

He spends part of his day working on his puzzles.
And ever since Mimi and Grandpy gave him their old computer, he likes to "type" as he calls it:)

This is Carter begging me to watch a video...it is so hard to deny him when he softly says, "pleeeeease":)

He spends part of his day playing with his cars. His new favorite thing is to race them down this board that we have in the living room.

Carter loves animals...stuffed animals, books about animals, animal puzzles, animal magnets...you name it and if animals are involved he LOVES IT!

What would a day be without tearing apart the living room? It is the middle of winter in Grand Forks so we have to get creative. His new thing is to jump from the couch to cushion to floor and try to stay standing up. He gets pretty excited when he does this!

And with Carter you can always count on lots of laughs and him being "silly" as he calls it! Here he is wearing Coopers diapers on his head:)

Of course the day wouldn't be complete without lots of books, snacks, running, throwing balls, wrestling, tickling, building towers with his blocks and then tearing the towers down.
It's always an adventure with this guy! Thankfully he take a long nap from around 12-2:30.
Oh yeah, and after all of that, he almost always falls asleep as his head hits the pillow around 7:15-7:45. He goes down for naps and bed like a champ...and it's no wonder!
